Google review QR code table tent: size, placement and testing
A table tent or counter sign puts your review link where customers already are. Here is how to make one that works.
Make it
- Build your review link and QR code in the generator.
- Pick Table tent. It prints two copies on one page, one upside down, so both sides read correctly once folded on the dotted line.
- Print one on plain paper and test it first.
Wording
Keep it short and neutral, for example: Tell us how we did. Leave a Google review. Add a small line such as Scan with your phone camera so people know what to do.
Where to put it
- At the checkout or front counter
- On tables, at waiting-room seats or at a service desk
- In the invoice, a follow-up email or a thank-you card
Test it
- Scan the printed code with two different phones.
- Check it in normal room light, not just on screen.
- Leave the white border around the code, and don't place it over a photo.
Keep it within Google's rules
According to Google's Maps contributed content policy, businesses may invite genuine reviews, but may not offer incentives, discourage negative reviews or only ask happy customers. Merchants also should not pressure people to review while on the premises or request specific content. A simple sign is fine; staff pressure is not.
